Tutorial Root And Install Custom Rom On Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 p7500

Hi all of tutorial for android readers. At this geuide today i will explain to you how to root Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 3 g version and install custom root on it. In this case i will use Cyanogenmod Rom. When you have root access on your device you can perform many operations, such as system files, or to change your original rom with a custom rom. Because custom rom usually have more good stabilty than the stock rom, and have more battery life

File Needed to Install Custom Rom

• Device driver, simply connect your device to your PC, then Windows will automatically download the drivers and install them.
• Download Odin v 1.85
• Download the root file.
• Download Cyanodenmod, in this guide we will use the cyanogenmod 9, but the tutorial isvalid for any version and for any other ROM.
• Download the Gapps (Google Apps) that will allow you to have standard applications
• Download the Recovery

procedure for Install custom recovery

• Go to Options > Settings and put check on USB Debugging.
• Then connect your galaxy tabp7500 to your PC, the wait for downloading and installing device drivers.
• Open Odin, if your device is recognized, there will appear the first colored box on the left and there will be written COM followed by the port number.
• Turn off the device and bring it into Download Mode, to do this :
  1. Turn off the tablet.
  2. Turn it on by holding the POWER button + VOLUME DOWN.
  3. Wait for the ignition, then two figures will appear, then select Download Mode, to select it just use the VOLUME up key, and move the VOLUME DOWN button.
  4. Confirm and go to next step.
• Press PDA on Odin and go to select the recovery with .md5 format, press start. The operation will run up a couple of minutes.
• Now you need to load on the device, place the root file on root folder, this will root your tablet.

• Turn off the device and bring it into Recovery Mode.
• After in recovery mode, use the volume keys to move and the power button to select.
• Go inside the SD Card and install the .zip file downloaded earlier to root the device. Restart the device, if the operation finish. There will appear the SuperUser application installed.
• Now you can install the custom rom. To install the ROM, go to Recovery Mode, but before installing, do the wipe, then perform the installation.
• If the operation is successful, install the Gapps. We recommend that you use the correct version of Gapps ROM, otherwise you will have problems with the ROM and Google Play.

Note that the following installation is valid for all ROMs, but it is important to always use the correct recovery and install the latest version of Gapps Rom. Finish now you will have root access and you can install custom rom on your samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 3 g version.
