Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 hitting Verizon stores August 17 for $350

Verizon has announced that it is launching the 4G LTE version of Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 on August 17. The 7-inch tablet will play nice with Big Red’s extensive 4G network, which now covers 337 markets in the US. Theoretically you can get up to 15Mbps of download speeds and 5Mbps for uploads.


The Galaxy tab 2 7.0 is powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz processor and comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box. Other features of the slate include 8GB internal storage, up to 64GB expandable storage via microSD card, 3.2MP rear camera, front-facing VGA camera, WiFi b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.0. The tab also comes preloaded with plenty of apps to keep you entertained, such as Netflix, Samsung’s MediaHub, and Kindle.
